New City Vision in Ellergreen, Liverpool

In the 1920's over two thousand homes were built on what used to be known as the Boot Estate.  Although a popular place to live, by the end of the 20th Century many of the houses were classed as defective due to the poor quality of the concrete used.

Working together with Liverpool City Council, New City Vision was set the task of building over eight hundred homes on the same site, resulting in the new Ellergreen development.  This has already started producing positive results in the neighbourhood, attracting new residents and meeting the aspirations of local people who wish to stay in their much loved community.  The houses have many energy saving features and great care has been taken to design attractive outside spaces for the residents to enjoy.
